Ready for church!
Cheese quesadillas at Margarita's are GREAT! I love them. I ate the whole thing!
Lilymei had her CT scan on Monday. She did very well and tolerated the sedation with few side effects. We have received preliminary results but we are awaiting the final analysis from a pediatric neural radiologist?? (something like that). Right now what we do know is that Lilymei definitely has hydrocephalus and that she is still suffering from subdural bleeding. Once we get the complete results we can get the MRI scheduled. For that, we will have to fly 7 hours to Hawaii and visit Tripler Army Medical Center.
Lilymei also had x-rays taken of her hips since she is very unsteady on her feet and not walking yet. It looks like her hips are fine and we will need to continue to work with her on strengthening those legs muscles. We are in the process of getting Early Intervention to come out and access her situation. I'm sure she will be having therapy sessions beginning soon. We will continue to post updates when we find out more details.
I can't get the video I wanted to load on the site tonight so I will leave you with a photo of our sweetie pie sleeping.....

Hi Jean,
I know you are anxious to get the rest of the test results. You are in my thoughts and prayers!
LM was unsteady when we first brought her home and our adoption clinic recommended having her go up and down stairs. I wasn't too thrilled with this idea, so we bought the Little Tykes slide thingy with the platform and she would climb up and slide down over and over. I think it really helped her strengthen those leg and tummy muscles!
Love,
Monica
What a beautiful little girl and handsome sons! I especially liked seeing the pictures of Guangzhou, as this is where we spent almost all of our time. I also did some shopping at Jordan's-- he was low-key. Thanks for sharing your blog link with me.

Thanks for the updates. We didn't get to finish our doctor visit yesterday and have to go back in 3 weeks. We still do not know much of anything yet. It can all be a little scary but I know our girls our in God's hands:) We will continue to keep you all in our prayers.
Lots of love to you all!
Kristy
Hi Jean - thanks for the update. Your kids are all so beautiful and handsome. We will pray for you, your family and Lilymei. These inner mongolian girls are tough!

Jean,
Hi, I'm Dana I snuck onto your blog from Children's Hope and had
fun reading everything!! We are leaving to go to China on Oct. 2nd
(hopefully) for our 4 year old SN daughter Sha Mei. She is in the same orphanage as "Meah" from your China travel group. I thought Lilymei looked familiar!---it was from the red couch pic on Meah's blog.
Best wishes and I'm adding another little China doll to our prayer list!
Dana
