Spring 2011, Virginia Beach, Trip to Ohio, and Ballet Oh my!

What a trip we had after getting the news that we were heading out to North Dakota. Seems like we tried to fit in all of the Virginia Bucket List all at once!
On top of the lighthouse in Virginia Beach, it was nice to get away.
Visit to Ohio wasn't complete without a visit to Grandpa Rayle.
Our dancing star during her recital in South Riding, VA.

Nate was featured for his work at Work Camp with the Diocese of Arlington.

Lily found a chocolatey friend at Hershey Park.

North Dakota, Canada, and so much more!

We were given the opportunity to leave our brand new home in VA for the opportunity to work at Minot AFB, ND!  We took it in hopes of making our way to Germany.  As life is sometimes, it all didn't work that way, but God has a plan for our life and we pressed on with blind faith.  We certainly had fun and met some great people in Minot. Thankful for the time, but it was a quick learning experience to say the least.  Nate also became an Eagle Scout in Minot.  Here are some photos to remind us of our time in Minot from August 2011 until November 2012.  We then hit the long road to San Antonio, TX and hope to stay put for our next chapter of our lives together.  Nate and Drew going off to college, Lily getting even bigger and smarter, Scott being promoted and Jean getting a new little person in her classroom.  So excited about going to China once again!

She couldn't take the long trip!

Puerto Rico or bust, January 2011!

We had a great break from reality when we landed in San Juan, PR and spent a couple of weeks on this great island.  Scott's parents were able to spend most of the time with our family and we had a great time.  We rented a large home right on the coast and spent sometime in the beautiful rainforest.

Old San Juan was awesome, except for the small little alleys that we were supposed to be able to navigate our 7 person van through.

Bacardi Rum factory and then our all time favorite appetizer...Risotto Balls!!
Lily celebrated her 4th birthday just like the princess that she is.
