Good lovein, what is going on here!

Well after we returned to D.C. our life was turned upside down! A day before we were to close on our new home, yes one day, the deal was KILLED. The VA appraiser (name withheld for his safety) decided in his opinion the home was not worth as much as we had offered. The deal was killed immediately and we became homeless. Needless to say a great deal of screaming and crying has taken place since yesterday. After praying about and looking at quite a few places we have found a home to.....RENT! We can not emotionally try to buy another home at this point. We are hoping that our application is accepted tomorrow and we can move in this weekend. The home is located in .... we will tell everyone once we get the acceptance. The new home is however, very nice and in a great community with a pool, tennis courts, bike trails, etc.
Thank you all for your prayers and concerns. Sorry if we have not called you personally, but life has hit us hard brother.
We hope this weekend will be a relaxing one (we deserve it). Thanks to our friends the Hardmans, who saved our bacon by watching the kids while we looked for houses, again!

Hi Olech Fam! Bummer about the house...so sorry to hear it. I know it's difficult when you get your hopes up and then have them shot down unexpectedly. You probably don't want to hear it right now, but maybe it was all for the best?--or wait, it will be all for the best in the near future? :) If it makes you feel better, we miss you guys like crazy here! Tell Nate and Drew that we finally got scuba certified (!!!) and we've been on a few dives...just today in fact I went and swam below dolphins, and next to a eagle spotted manta ray, and we then saw a octopus...pretty eventful! And other news in our lives--Mike's deploying in Nov. for 6 months to the Philippines. Aggh. It should be okay though, but it just sucks being apart for that long. I'm going home for the holidays so that should break it up...anyway...thanks for keeping us all updated on getting settled! Have a fabulous day!
